We are looking for a Senior/Lead Java Developer to join our high-performing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
🌟 Key Responsibilities:
- ✅ Develop and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot.
- ✅ Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- ✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- ✅ Optimize and troubleshoot software performance.
- ✅ Work with AWS cloud services for deployment and management.
- ✅ Lead and mentor junior developers.
- ✅ Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
💪 Minimum Requirements:
- ✅ Matric (or equivalent qualification).
- ✅ 4+ years of experience with Spring Boot.
- ✅ Experience working with AWS cloud services.
- ✅ Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- ✅ Experience in RESTful API development.
- ✅ Willingness to travel internationally for up to 6 weeks.
- ✅ A valid passport is required.
- ✅ Ability to work in a hybrid model.
- ✅ Residing in South Africa.
🎨 Preferred Skills & Experience:
- ✅ Experience with Microservices architecture.
- ✅ Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- ✅ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- ✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
