🧭 Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our Solutions Division at our Kempton Park Distribution Center (1619). This pivotal role is responsible for coordinating, planning, and balancing all warehousing activities to ensure optimal resource utilization and compliance with client-specific SLAs.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong client relationships and understand their operational requirements
Plan, schedule, and balance daily/weekly/monthly warehouse workloads
Create optimal execution plans for outbound schedules, aligning resources with client KPIs
Monitor system outputs and performance trackers to ensure compliance
Manage queries, audits, and ad hoc operational tasks
Maintain clear communication across teams and escalate risks early
Implement improvements using data analysis to enhance productivity and efficiency
Support job rotation for team flexibility and skill development

🧠 Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Matric (Required)
Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering (Preferred)

Experience:

2–3 years in warehouse planning, scheduling, and balancing operations
Strong exposure to warehouse & transport environments, preferably in fashion or retail logistics

💻 Technical Skills

Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting is essential
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Strong planning, organizing, and coordination skills
Capacity to manage customer expectations and operational compliance
Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
