We are currently looking for a Senior Ports & Coastal Engineer to join our highly skilled and multi-disciplinary team in Cape Town. If you’re driven by excellence, innovation, and meaningful work in the coastal and marine engineering field — we want to hear from you.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Ports & Coastal Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design of marine structures including seawalls, deck on pile, blockwork, and caisson structures.

• Provide design coordination and technical project management.

• Offer technical review and verification of design outputs.

• Prepare proposals and contribute to business development.

• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams: environmental specialists, architects, engineers, and local authorities.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety, sustainability, and international codes and standards.

📚 Qualifications & Experience

To thrive in this role, you should have:
✅ BSc/MSc or BEng/MEng in Port, Coastal, or Structural Engineering
✅ Professional registration with ECSA
✅ 15–20 years of proven experience in coastal and port structural design
✅ Proficiency in structural analysis and relevant design software
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✅ Experience with client interface and stakeholder engagement
