🧠 Key Responsibilities

🏗️ Architecture & System Design

  • Collaborate with business analysts, product leads, and architects

  • Build high-level system designs covering backend services, APIs, data flows, and cloud components

  • Document architectural blueprints, deployment diagrams, and operational workflows

  • Translate business needs into secure, scalable, maintainable technical structures

💻 Software Engineering

  • Develop moderately to highly complex backend applications

  • Build microservices and web APIs using modern .NET frameworks

  • Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines

  • Integrate message queues, caching layers, and event-driven components

  • Ensure systems meet speed, security, and uptime requirements of a betting platform

🧪 Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Implement automated tests (unit, integration, regression)

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are met

  • Support performance testing for high-traffic betting events

👥 Mentorship & Leadership

  • Guide junior and mid-level developers

  • Break down complex tasks into manageable deliverables

  • Assist in establishing and improving engineering workflows

🛠️ Required Technical Skills

  • .NET 5+ Web APIs & Worker Services (3+ years)

  • C# 8+ (4+ years)

  • MS SQL Server with EF Core / Dapper

  • Elasticsearch (1+ year)

  • Message queues: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus

  • Frontend frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue

  • Azure DevOps: Repos, Pipelines, Releases

  • Redis caching & distributed cache management

  • Experience building and managing microservices

  • Proven experience with unit testing frameworks

  • Knowledge of sports betting markets, odds, or gaming systems
