Key Responsibilities:

✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

✔ Design, develop, test, and deploy modern cloud-native web applications and APIs.

✔ Write clean, maintainable, and secure code using modern design principles and best practices.

✔ Utilize version control tools like Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for efficient code management.

✔ Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and Redis to create efficient data storage solutions.

✔ Implement CI/CD pipelines and have a DevOps mindset to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

✔ Conduct comprehensive testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure software reliability and quality.

✔ Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud-native development.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Essential Skills:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

✅ Proficiency in C#, NuGet, and XUnit.

✅ Extensive experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.

✅ Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for version control.

✅ Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and Redis.

✅ Experience with containerization tools like Docker.

✅ Strong experience in cloud-native development and microservices architecture.

✅ Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

✅ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.

✅ Continuous learning mindset and a passion for technology.
Beneficial Skills:

✅ Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript (with focus on frameworks such as Ember, Angular, or React).

✅ Familiarity with Azure or other cloud service providers.
Location:
Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, UK (with flexible hybrid working options).
