We’re currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Solution Sales Executive to drive strategic revenue growth within our Business Technology Platform (BTP) portfolio in the South African region.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Solution Sales Executive – BTP, you will be at the forefront of digital transformation, shaping how businesses engage with cutting-edge technologies. Your responsibilities include:

Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities across your assigned territory.

Pipeline Development: Generate at least 5x your quota in pipeline opportunities through effective planning and proactive engagement.

Strategic Territory Planning: Develop and execute a territory plan that highlights how SAP BTP solutions can solve customer challenges.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams—including Sales Management, the Value-Added Team (VAT), and Marketing—to develop compelling customer propositions.

C-Suite Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level executives to drive high-value conversations and long-term partnerships.

Account Management: Implement account-based strategies to educate and convert key accounts.

Sales Best Practices: Champion and share successful sales methodologies to help replicate results across the region.
What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of technical understanding, consultative sales experience, and strong leadership skills. Ideal candidates will have:

10+ years of B2B sales experience, particularly in enterprise software, cloud services, or IT solutions.

5+ years of experience selling BTP-related solutions, such as database management, data integration, AI/ML technologies, low-code/no-code platforms, and middleware.

Track record of selling to CXO-level stakeholders and managing large, complex accounts.

Deep understanding of solution selling methodologies, such as SPIN, Challenger Sales, or Sandler Training.

Strong communication and strategic thinking skills.

A passion for innovation and an aptitude for navigating enterprise environments.
Education and Certifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Relevant sales and technology certifications are advantageous.
