Key Responsibilities ✅

• Clinic Management: Oversee hygiene, stock control, equipment maintenance, and safety measures.
• Supervision: Lead and support personnel in the veterinary clinic.
• Anaesthesia & Sedation: Administer and monitor anaesthesia and sedation for small animals.
• Emergency Procedures: Handle urgent veterinary cases with precision and care.
• Client Communication: Interact with pet owners, providing updates and guidance.
• Training & Development: Instruct students and team members on surgical nursing techniques.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in various OVAH sections and perform shift duties.

Minimum Requirements 📌

✔ Qualification: Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (DipCurAnim, Dip Vet Nursing) or BVetNurse, or an equivalent qualification.
✔ Registration: Must be registered as a Veterinary Nurse with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC).
✔ Experience: At least 1 year of experience in veterinary nursing and clinic management.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• High attention to detail and a responsible, professional demeanor.

• Willingness to work weekends, after hours, and shift duties when required.
