Are you detail-oriented and experienced in inventory management? Medirite Plus MH Parklands, part of the reputable Shoprite Group, is seeking a Stock Controller to join their operations team in Parklands, Western Cape. This permanent, full-time opportunity is ideal for someone with solid experience in the retail or FMCG environment and a passion for ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient store operations.

As a Stock Controller, you will play a crucial role in receiving, recording, and returning stock in line with company procedures while supporting the overall retail operation.

What You’ll Do:

• Accurately receive goods and verify them against supplier invoices.

• Timeously capture all stock invoices into the store’s system.

• Ensure that all goods received match the invoice in terms of quantity, variant, and condition.

• Handle all returns to suppliers efficiently and in accordance with standard operating procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible storeroom environment.

• Support the management of high-risk and sensitive stock items.

• Identify stock discrepancies and promptly report them to management.

• Manage the return of damaged or unordered goods and complete corresponding credit notes.

• Perform physically intensive tasks, including lifting heavy boxes and offloading pallets.

• Support cross-functional departments as needed based on operational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of stock control or similar experience within a retail or FMCG store environment.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of retail stock control principles and processes.

• Familiarity with SAP and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Office 365).

• Excellent numerical, organizational, and time management skills.

• Sound problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
