🔍 Introduction
Clicks Group is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join our Daspoort store team. The successful candidate will ensure service excellence at the point of sale (POS) by managing operational activities, overseeing staff, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Point of Sale & Operational Management

Oversee POS operations to ensure fast and efficient customer service.

Manage cash, stock, returns, and administrative duties while minimizing shrinkage.

Ensure high standards of housekeeping and store presentation.
Staff Management & Development
-
Train, motivate, and supervise shop assistants and cashiers.
-
Ensure sufficient staffing in line with schedules, policies, and labor legislation.

Support staff in delivering service excellence and achieving targets.
Customer Service & Brand Representation
-
Resolve customer queries efficiently in line with company policies.
-
Promote Clicks Clubcard participation and achieve associated targets.

Act as a visible brand ambassador, providing friendly and professional service.
Stock & Compliance Management
-
Enforce security measures, cash controls, and returns policies.

Maintain accurate stock records and minimize losses.

Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company events.
🛠 Qualifications & Experience
-
Education: Grade 12; Maths and English (50%+) desirable.
-
Relevant Retail/Business Management qualification for external applicants.
-
Minimum 1-year experience in a customer-facing role overseeing retail or FMCG staff.

Numeracy skills and experience in stock management.
