๐ Your Purpose
As a Service Ambassador at Virgin Active, you will be the face and energy of our club. From the reception desk to the fitness floor, swimming pool, and digital platforms, youโll deliver unforgettable in-club and online experiences. Your interactions will directly impact member retention, digital engagement, and customer satisfaction.
๐ Key Duties and Responsibilities
๐ Front of House Engagement

Welcome members and control facility access.

Provide accurate info to members, prospects, and staff.

Manage seamless member journeys from entry to exit.

Ensure administrative and operational compliance.
๐ฌ Member Experience & Retention
-
Deliver world-class customer service to boost NPS scores.

Introduce members to digital fitness platforms and offerings.

Encourage participation in events and wellness initiatives.
-
Address and resolve member complaints effectively.

Build and maintain strong member relationships.
๐๏ธโโ๏ธ Member Floor Support

Promote safe and rule-abiding exercise habits.

Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of exercise areas.

Monitor member behavior to maintain safety standards.
๐ Training & Development

Participate in ongoing training programs.

Continuously improve digital and fitness product knowledge.
โ Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
-
Completion of Virgin Activeโs Reception Academy
-
12+ months in a customer-facing role
-
Familiarity with digital and online fitness platforms
-
Knowledge of Virgin Activeโs exercise experiences
-
Understanding of the customer journey and member satisfaction
-
Must have a valid First Aid Level 1 certificate
