Role Overview
As a Settlement & Reconciliation Clerk, you will play a crucial role within the Invoice to Cash Shared Services Centre, ensuring all reconciliations and settlements relating to online and store payment tender types are processed accurately and on time. You will engage with Bash Support, store operations, and Fuse teams, consistently meeting quality standards aligned with Record to Report SLAs.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and clear Synergy tickets related to online/store payment discrepancies.

Investigate and resolve differences between expected and actual settlements by clearing the bank sub-ledger.

Perform reconciliations for tender control accounts and bank sub-ledger accounts.

Liaise effectively with Bash Support, store operations, and Fuse teams.

Process SAP journals and clearing entries accurately.

Clear exceptions in Recon Assist Plus to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Matric certificate or relevant finance-related qualification.
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance or administrative environment.

Proven reconciliation experience – essential.

Strong SAP experience – essential.
Skills & Competencies

Strong skills in reconciliation and analysis.

Competent in accounting, reporting, and auditing functions.

Knowledge of cash management and financial risk management.

Excellent business communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
