Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence:
  Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service that enhances the customer experience and builds loyalty.

• Point of Sale (POS) Operations:
  Accurately scan merchandise, manage payments, and action ClubCard rewards in a timely and professional manner.

• Promotions & Loyalty Programme:
  Proactively promote current promotions and the Clicks ClubCard. Sign up new members to achieve participation targets.

• Cash Handling:
  Ensure all cash transactions are secure, accurate, and comply with company policy.

• Merchandising & Housekeeping:
  Execute merchandising plans, maintain product displays and cleanliness in accordance with visual merchandising standards.

• Product Knowledge:
  Stay informed about in-store promotions, events, and product ranges to assist customers with up-to-date information.

Minimum Requirements

• Education:

  • Essential: Grade 12

  • Desirable: Minimum 50% in Mathematics and English

• Experience:

  • Desirable: 6–12 months in a customer-facing role within retail or FMCG environments

• Knowledge & Skills:

  • Basic mathematics and stock management

  • Customer service principles

  • Retail merchandising and promotions

  • Computer literacy

  • Good communication, planning, and organisational skills
