Job Overview
The Company Secretary Internship is part of SHRA’s Graduate Internship Programme, aimed at providing unemployed young graduates (under 35) with practical workplace experience. Interns will gain exposure to corporate governance, compliance, record keeping, and administrative functions in the Office of the CEO, supporting the delivery of Company Secretarial Services.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain statutory books, registers, and client records

Ensure compliance with corporate laws and internal policies

Facilitate Board meeting logistics, including venue, equipment, catering, and stationery

Support the Company Secretariat team with office administration tasks

Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements for Council members

Provide ad hoc project support to deliver team objectives

Conduct research on governance best practices and regulatory changes

Provide general administrative support while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Update the Policy Register
Qualifications
Education:

Diploma in Administration
Skills & Competencies:

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance preferred

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Experience:

No prior work experience required; relevant academic projects or internships advantageous
