🔧 Position Overview: Site Operator

We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Site Operator to join one of our elite site installation teams in Cape Town. This is your chance to work hands-on with mechanical systems that impact major industries, while developing your technical skills within a respected engineering company.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily installation tasks for industrial ventilation systems.

• Accurately follow instructions from the Site Manager.

• Assist in assembling and installing galvanised ducting, elbows, and transitions.

• Install heavy-duty axial and centrifugal industrial fans.

• Mount components such as extraction hoods, dampers, silencers, and support brackets.

• Aid in the removal and mechanical replacement of existing systems.

• Operate power tools including drills, grinders, and riveters.

• Safely work at heights on scaffolding or elevated platforms.

• Support the team in achieving project goals while ensuring safety compliance.

• Report progress and participate in resolving site challenges.

📚 Qualifications & Experience

• Matric (Grade 12) required

• Tertiary education in mechanical or technical fields is a plus

• Experience in construction, mechanical, or ventilation site work is advantageous

• Ability to read and interpret basic technical/mechanical drawings

• Valid driver’s license preferred
