The Senior Business Analyst role is pivotal in translating complex business requirements into innovative technical solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency.

🎯 Role Purpose

Lead business and system analysis initiatives by understanding business technology usage and ensuring IT solutions add measurable value to Momentum Investments. Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions aligned with business and system architecture.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex business analysis efforts and identify improvement opportunities.

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to elicit business and system requirements.

• Define, document, and communicate end-to-end business solutions using IT.

• Translate requirements into user journeys, user stories, process diagrams, data models, business rules, and mockups.

• Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to ensure solution alignment.

• Assist technical designers in understanding requirements and participate in design discussions.

• Test technical solutions, business processes, and calculations; review and sign off test cases.

• Analyze recurring system/process issues and propose sustainable solutions.

• Support training, change management, and user adoption strategies to ensure consistent service delivery.

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Qualifications: BCom Informatics or BSc degree; Diploma in Business Analysis preferred.

• Experience:

  • 10+ years as a Business Analyst

  • 3+ years in the investment environment

  • 6+ years IT experience with integrated solutions

  • API-centric architecture and system integration experience

  • Agile working experience preferred
