The CCDU Social Work Internship, though guided by the School’s principles, typically unfolds from February to September annually, providing an exceptional platform for students to translate theory into practice.

Application Process:

  • Step 1 (September): Receive detailed information about the internship and extend an invitation to interested Social Work students meeting the criteria by contacting ccdu@wits.ac.za.
  • Step 2 (October): Submit your application, undergo shortlisting, and successful candidates will be invited for an interview at CCDU.
  • Step 3 (November): Confirmed interns sign agreement contracts.
  • Step 4 (February of the following year): The internship commences, concluding in September annually.
