Job Overview

The Software Development Internship is a 12-month graduate opportunity designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world software development. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to modern programming languages, frameworks, and development tools used at 1Nebula.

This role offers practical experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, API integration, collaboration, version control, documentation, and quality assurance. Successful interns may be considered for permanent software development roles upon completion of the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with an assigned mentor and fellow interns throughout the internship
• Participate in team-based software development projects as well as an individual project
• Gain hands-on exposure to API integration and traditional application development
• Apply Agile methodologies while working through the software development lifecycle
• Write, test, debug, and maintain application code
• Analyse and solve real-world technical challenges
• Collaborate with team members using version control and development best practices
• Maintain documentation and contribute to quality assurance processes
• Present a portfolio of evidence at the end of the internship showcasing skills and experience gained

Qualifications

Education

• Completed degree or higher certificate in one of the following fields:
– Computer Science
– Software Engineering
– Other relevant technology-related disciplines

Technical Skills

• Strong foundation in programming languages such as C# or other relevant languages
• Basic programming and debugging skills
• Ability to analyse problems and develop logical, efficient solutions
• Exposure to coursework or projects demonstrating programming ability (advantageous)

Personal Attributes

• Willingness to take on challenges and learn continuously
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Capability to work independently when required
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
