Standard Bank, one of Africa’s leading financial institutions, is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. Based in Johannesburg, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining systems within the continuous delivery pipeline. Key Responsibilities:
✔ Software Design and Development:

Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.

Design, code, and test software applications while ensuring high quality and performance.

Debug and correct software issues as they arise, ensuring a seamless user experience.
✔ Continuous Delivery Pipeline:
-
Work within the software engineering environments, contributing to the continuous delivery pipeline.

Maintain and support existing systems, making updates and improvements as needed.
✔ System Integration and Support:
-
Integrate new solutions with existing systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality.

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the systems you develop.
✔ Quality Assurance and Specifications:
-
Produce software specifications that adhere to technical requirements and meet software quality assurance standards.

Ensure all code developed meets the highest standards of software engineering practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
✔ Education:
-
First Degree in Information Studies or Information Technology.
✔ Experience:
-
5-7 years of experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications.
-
At least 2-3 years of experience in SAP LAC (SAP Authorizations).
-
Strong background in software engineering, coding, testing, and debugging.
