✔️ University Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
✔️ SAICA CA (SA) or similar qualification preferred

🔎 What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Specialist: Energy Governance & SOX, you’ll provide strategic and technical support for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, governance policy implementation, and internal control management. You’ll collaborate with multiple OMEs, facilitate risk workshops, review internal controls, and liaise with auditors and stakeholders to uphold the highest financial governance standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities Include:

• ✔️ Support M&S OMEs in complying with SEC and SOX regulations

• ✔️ Assist with process flow documentation and annual updates

• ✔️ Participate in risk workshops and coordinate internal control frameworks

• ✔️ Maintain SOX documentation in Workiva and ensure compliance with change management processes

• ✔️ Plan and monitor SOX testing cycles

• ✔️ Analyze SOX testing results and provide remediation strategies

• ✔️ Conduct governance-related training sessions and committee coordination

• ✔️ Manage SAP access and mitigate segregation of duties risks

• ✔️ Partner with auditors, internal stakeholders, and compliance teams

• ✔️ Contribute to governance communication, policy development, and SOX reporting

• 🎯 Minimum 6 years’ relevant SOX compliance & internal controls experience
