Job Overview

Capitec Bank is looking for an experienced Specialist: Talent Acquisition (Temp) to plan and execute end-to-end recruitment processes within a dedicated client segment. The role focuses on specialist recruitment, talent consulting, and the delivery of middle-management to senior-level appointments in line with approved staffing strategies and employment standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute talent acquisition in line with staffing requirements and job profiles

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment for middle management to senior positions

  • Provide specialist consultation on talent resourcing and related HR processes

  • Conduct telephonic interviews, screening, and candidate assessments

  • Apply and interpret psychometric and personality assessments

  • Manage sourcing strategies and recruitment pipelines

  • Support talent reviews, operational talent planning, and tracking

  • Coordinate recruitment processes in line with approved talent initiatives

  • Provide recruitment feedback and stakeholder consultation


Qualifications

Education

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational (minimum)

  • Degree in Psychology or Industrial / Organisational Psychology

Preferred Education

  • Postgraduate qualification in Psychology or Industrial / Organisational Psychology

  • Registered Psychometrist or Psychologist with HPCSA (advantageous)

Experience

  • 2โ€“3 yearsโ€™ end-to-end recruitment experience

  • Proven experience in volume recruitment

  • Experience with competency-based interviewing and assessment interpretation

  • Experience in telephonic interviewing and response handling

Knowledge

  • General HR processes and procedures

  • Labour legislation including LRA and Employment Equity Act

  • Psychometric assessments and personality instruments

  • Competency-based recruitment and sourcing methodologies

  • Understanding of labour market and IR principles (advantageous)

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Planning, organising, and coordination abilities

  • Attention to detail

  • Consultation and influencing skills

  • Facilitation and presentation skills

  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
