🧰 Position Overview: Stacker Operator

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-focused Stacker Operator to join the Print Production Press department at our Montague Gardens site. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and efficiency of printed product stacking and contributes directly to the performance of our press operations.

The successful candidate will report to the Shift Leader and will work as part of a high-performance pressroom team.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Ensure job material, job cards, and correct pallet tickets are available

• Monitor and maintain log and pallet quality

• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the stacker

• Conduct quality checks and report any faults to the Printer

• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations

• Manually pack product sections when jams or spoils occur

• Log issues and coordinate with the Senior Printer

• Assist press operators as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

📚 Educational & Experience Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification

• 1–2 years’ experience as a Stacker Operator

• Previous work experience in a pressroom or FMCG print environment

🧠 Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of printing processes and paper handling

• Ability to work independently and accurately

• High attention to detail and time management

• Physically fit and safety-aware

• Flexible to work shifts and extended hours

• Consistent attendance and timekeeping
