Key Responsibilities:
- 🛠️ Coordinate with Purchasing Team: Work closely with the purchasing department to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring inventory meets the demands of the business.
- 📊 Track and Record Inventory: Monitor stock movements and keep precise records to ensure stock levels are accurate and discrepancies are avoided.
- 🔍 Conduct Regular Stock Audits: Regularly audit stock to identify any discrepancies, address issues promptly, and ensure smooth stock management.
- 🚚 Collaborate with Logistics: Work alongside the logistics team to ensure the timely delivery and distribution of inventory across departments.
- 📈 Utilize Stock Management Software: Leverage stock management tools to track stock levels and streamline processes, improving efficiency across departments.
- 📑 Generate Reports: Create detailed reports on inventory turnover, stock movements, and stock levels to provide insights for effective decision-making.
- 🔒 Implement Inventory Control Measures: Identify and implement strategies to minimize stock loss and boost efficiency in the management of inventory.
- 📞 Communication: Notify relevant departments of stock availability, shortages, or any stock-related issues to keep operations running smoothly.
- 🧮 Assist in Forecasting Needs: Help forecast stock needs and manage the replenishment process to meet business demands.
Requirements:
- ✔️ Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Stock Administrator or in a similar inventory management role is advantageous.
- ✔️ Knowledge of Inventory Practices: Familiarity with inventory management processes and best practices.
- ✔️ Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze stock data, track trends, and identify inefficiencies.
- ✔️ Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- ✔️ Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and stock management software.
- ✔️ Team Player: Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- ✔️ Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively across departments.
- ✔️ Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
