Role Overview
We are looking for a Stock Auditor to join our team in Boksburg. As a Stock Auditor at Sandvik, you will ensure that inventory levels in the warehouse are maintained accurately and optimally. This role is key to managing stock control processes, supporting operational efficiency, and driving improvements within the warehouse.


Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts across various stockroom locations, generated by the ERP system.
Stock Audits: Conduct bin audits and verifications to ensure data integrity.
Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve shortfalls and nil picks, documenting any discrepancies.
Frozen Inventory & Scrapping: Ensure frozen inventory and scrapping processes are executed correctly and on time.
Reporting: Update frequency and reasons for location overrides and provide accurate stock control reports.
Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, internal standards, and the Health & Safety Act.
Equipment Checks: Perform daily inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure operational safety.
Collaboration: Regularly interact with stakeholders to minimize risks and maintain operational efficiency.
Ad-hoc Duties: Complete other duties as required by management and site needs.


Requirements:
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent (NQF Level 4). A post-matric qualification in Logistics or Inventory Control is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehousing or distribution.
Licenses: A valid MHE License (Reach Truck or HOPT).
Technical Skills: Basic MS Office skills and exposure to ERP, WMS, TMS, and EHS management systems (e.g., Aurora or DI-S21) is beneficial.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to work in a mining environment and meet vaccination requirements.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in stock control.
