π§ Job Purpose
As a Store Manager at Clicks Southgate, you will play a crucial leadership role in managing store operations, enhancing team performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive sales, manage budgets, and maintain high operational standards, all while cultivating a positive customer experience that reflects our brand promise.
π― Key Responsibilities

Drive store performance by achieving sales targets and implementing action plans for weekly/monthly goals.

Oversee day-to-day store operations including expense control, stock management, shrinkage prevention, and administration.

Ensure in-store merchandising and promotional activity is consistent with the Clicks brand image.

Recruit, develop, and manage staff to build a skilled, motivated team capable of delivering excellence.

Develop shift schedules aligned with labour legislation and operational demand.

Handle store administration such as staff attendance, HR records, and compliance reports.

Implement customer service initiatives to enhance satisfaction and grow loyalty programs like ClubCard.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (suppliers, centre managers, distribution centres).

Monitor competitor activities and market trends to maximise local opportunities.

Ensure collaboration and alignment across pharmacy, clinic, and general store operations.

Cultivate a high-performing culture that supports staff engagement, customer loyalty, and profitability.

Champion the Clicks brand values to become the preferred health and beauty retailer in South Africa.
π Minimum Requirements
Educational Requirements:
-
Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and English (Essential)
-
Diploma or Bachelorβs Degree in Retail, Financial Management, Pharmacy, or similar (External applicants)
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in a Store Management role in a retail or FMCG environment
-
OR successful completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
-
Strong financial management experience, including budgets, profit/loss statements, and performance ratios
