As a Storekeeper, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing stock for Fedics, contributing to our mission of delivering top-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
📦 Stock Management:
-
Accept and verify deliveries, ensuring that stock is undamaged and complete.

Manage food, beverage, and resale item ordering efficiently.
-
Ensure stock rotation and proper handling of stock in fridges, freezers, and dry stores.
🛠️ Inventory Control:
-
Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate records.
-
Manage wastage and leftovers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
-
Use the My Market system to receive invoices and track stock.
📊 Costing & Reporting:
-
Accurately cost meals, functions, and stock on a daily basis.

Report on stock quality, and make recommendations for improvements.
📅 Hygiene and Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized storage environment, including storerooms, fridges, and freezers.

Ensure that all products are date-marked and stored according to Fedics standards.
🤝 Supplier & Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients.

Address customer complaints and compliments as they arise.
💡 Teamwork & Support:

Collaborate with colleagues and assist with duties outside your scope when required.

Provide proper handovers to ensure smooth operations.
Minimum Requirements:
🎓 Education:
-
Matric/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
💼 Experience:
-
At least 2 years of relevant experience in stock control, storekeeping, or a similar role.
-
Knowledge of costing and stock management will be an advantage.
💻 Skills & Competencies:
-
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
-
Excellent client service skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and My Market.

Good knowledge of food and beverage operations.

Exceptional attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalism.
