Infinity Brands is currently looking for a Storeman Assistant to join our dynamic team in Rustenburg. This full-time position plays a vital role in managing stock flow, assisting with purchases, and ensuring smooth and efficient store operations. Key Responsibilities

As a Storeman Assistant, you will be involved in various aspects of stock management, ensuring that products are properly received, stored, and dispatched. Your duties will include:

Customer Service
✔ Greet customers and assist with any queries as they pass the retail area.
✔ Provide product information and guide customers to relevant departments or products.

Stock Management
✔ Assist with ordering stock and creating purchase orders.
✔ Ensure efficient receipt of stock in the mornings and follow-up on back orders.
Inspect packages for damage or defaults upon receipt.
✔ Ensure all stock is labelled, binned, and signed correctly in the store.
Pick products from shelves as per the picking slip and ensure accurate dispatch.
✔ Handle product returns from customers and follow up on repairs.
✔ Provide feedback to the store manager and customers regarding the status of product repairs.

Inventory Control
✔ Manage inventory and investigate discrepancies between stock levels and system records.
Replenish stock on shelves when levels are low.
✔ Perform regular stock take and update success trackers.
✔ Ensure the correct packing of parcels, with fragile items clearly marked.
✔ Maintain aisle organization and overall store cleanliness.

Operational Efficiency
✔ Maintain dispatch bins and ensure efficient packing in accordance with dispatch bays.
✔ Ensure that all electrical products are tested and in good condition before leaving the store.
✔ Collaborate with internal sales teams when the store is busy and support daily operations.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in a similar role or related field.
✔ Previous experience in the Electrical Industry or Retail Sales Environment is advantageous.
Senior Certificate (NQF4) or equivalent qualification.
✔ Must be a South African citizen or possess a valid work permit for South Africa.
