💼 Job Purpose
Join Cipla as a Stores Controller and play a crucial role in managing and coordinating inventory, logistics, and compliance in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will ensure the smooth operation of depot activities, aligning with production plans, and maintaining safety standards.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
✅ Depot & Warehouse Operations
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Maintain storage conditions in compliance with cGMP and company policies.
- Ensure adherence to safety and legislative requirements.
✅ Inventory & Stock Control
- Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile with inventory data.
- Monitor receipt, issuance, dispatch, and storage of goods.
- Manage non-moving stock and disposal of rejected/expired goods.
✅ Logistics & Distribution
- Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery requirements are met.
- Keep track of collections, credit policies, and settlements.
- Verify stock transactions and delivery plans.
✅ Compliance & Safety
- Implement warehouse safety guidelines and GDP standards.
- Maintain and update records as per SOPs.
- Conduct training on health, safety, and GMP compliance.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Matric/Grade 12 (Stock & Stores Diploma advantageous).
- Forklift/Reach Truck Driver’s License (Advantageous).
- 2-3 years’ experience in a supply chain, logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) & SAP/SYSPRO systems.
