Eduvos is seeking a dedicated Student Affairs Advisor to join their team on a full-time basis at the Midrand campus. The role involves maintaining and enhancing student relationships throughout their educational journeyβ€”from enrolment to graduation. Key Responsibilities πŸ”‘

As a Student Affairs Advisor, you will:

  • Facilitate Enrolment & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end enrolment process and ensure smooth transitions for new students, guiding them through the necessary systems, documents, and orientations.
  • Student and Sponsor Queries: Provide timely responses to queries from students and their sponsors, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a professional manner.
  • Student Engagement & CRM: Engage with students regularly, using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track interactions and resolve any first-level issues.
  • Organize On-Campus Activities: Help coordinate student activities, events, clubs, and societies, fostering a sense of community and belonging on campus.
  • Student Wellness & Safeguarding: Facilitate student wellness programs, and provide support and referrals where necessary. Be the first point of contact for any safeguarding incidents or concerns.
  • Support SRC & Class Representatives: Assist in managing the Student Representative Council (SRC), as well as class representatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Monitor and Implement Operational Plans: Develop and oversee operational plans and budgets, ensuring that student services are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Election Process: Facilitate the on-campus student election process, ensuring fairness, transparency, and smooth implementation.

Minimum Requirements πŸ“š

  • Qualification:

    • B-degree in social work, education, educational psychology, or communication. An Honours degree is advantageous.
  • Experience:

    • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a higher education or professional development environment. Previous experience as a student advisor is highly beneficial.
