The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is offering an exciting internship opportunity to unemployed South African graduates. The successful intern will be appointed for a period of 24 months and will work closely with the Supply Chain Unit in Pretoria. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a national organisation that plays a critical role in the mining and minerals sector’s skills development.
📝 Internship Overview – Supply Chain Management
As an intern, you’ll be involved in hands-on tasks that reflect the real-world responsibilities of the Supply Chain environment. Expect to gain invaluable experience while contributing to the efficiency and compliance of procurement and logistics processes.
🧾 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Contract Management & Tender Evaluation
✅ Support compliance with PFMA, PPPFA, B-BBEE, ISO & Corporate Governance
✅ Assist in processing Purchase Orders & managing order-to-delivery workflow
✅ Maintain supplier records, contracts, invoices, and relevant documentation
✅ Provide administrative and document management support
✅ Help resolve internal and external supply chain issues
🎓 Minimum Requirements:
✔️ Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
✔️ Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:

Supply Chain Management
-
Public Management
-
Public Administration
-
Logistics
-
Purchasing Management
-
Or any equivalent qualification
✔️ Must be a South African Citizen
✔️ Never previously participated in any internship programme
