Job Overview

The Supply Chain and Logistics Graduate role offers graduates the opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to supply chain operations within a high-volume distribution centre. Based in Johannesburg, the graduate will support planning, procurement, inventory, dispatch, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business units.

This programme is ideal for graduates seeking a long-term career in logistics, operations management, or supply chain strategy within a technology-driven retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support outbound planning and coordination across inbound, outbound, inventory, and dispatch operations

  • Assist with procurement activities and supplier coordination while supporting SLA adherence

  • Track stock levels, process orders, and maintain accurate inventory records

  • Monitor dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery and effective coordination with logistics partners

  • Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities

  • Support cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality

  • Assist in designing and implementing process improvements for operational efficiency

  • Identify operational risks and support contingency planning

  • Support sustainability initiatives and environmentally responsible practices

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and operational partners


Qualifications

Education

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Experience

  • No prior work experience required

  • Exposure to logistics, warehousing, procurement, or operations will be advantageous

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis
