π Role Overview
This is a mid-level role responsible for procurement planning, demand analysis, supplier management, bid administration, and ensuring compliance with SCM legislation. You will support the departmentβs purchasing cycle and assist in preparing demand plans for national operations.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
π Demand Planning & Administration

Coordinate procurement planning across units.

Consolidate Demand Management Plans into a departmental plan.

Verify budget allocations on BAS and track expenditure.
π¦ Supplier Database & Procurement

Update and maintain supplier information.

Register suppliers on the departmental system.

Request quotations and ensure orders are placed on time.

Capture specifications on the purchasing system.
π Bid & Tender Support

Issue and receive bid documents.

Provide logistical support for bid committees.

Assist in contract finalisation and record management.
π₯οΈ Requisition & Market Analysis

Analyse daily procurement requests.

Conduct basic market research to ensure fair pricing.

Verify accuracy before directing requests to quotation units.
