๐Ÿงฉ Position Overview

PPS Insurance is seeking a Support Assistant to join the Advice and Distribution team in Johannesburg East. This role reports directly to the Team Leader and focuses on delivering high-quality, detailed work aligned with service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate is methodical, consistent, and thrives in an environment where quality, routine, and accuracy are valued.

This position is vital in supporting intermediaries and life specialists by providing administrative, technical, and client-focused support in a regulated financial services environment.


๐ŸŽฏ Key Responsibilities

๐Ÿ“ Application & Query Processing

  • Upload and track premium queries, changes to policies, debit orders, broker changes, and amendments.

  • Capture applications within 4 hours of receipt and ensure 95% accuracy.

  • Follow up on incomplete applications and outstanding service requirements.

๐Ÿงพ Administrative Support

  • Provide policy quotations and benefit statements to intermediaries.

  • Offer direct administrative assistance to intermediaries and internal Life Specialists.

  • Order and manage office supplies, brochures, and forms as needed.

๐Ÿ“† Service Coordination

  • Monitor service requests and ensure SLA targets are met consistently.

  • Assist in organising broker workshops and relevant events.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.


โœ… Minimum Requirements

๐ŸŽ“ Education

  • Matric (Grade 12) required.

๐Ÿง  Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Financial Services or Life Assurance administrative role.

  • Familiarity with life assurance processes and terminology.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Internet).

  • Knowledge of internal systems for policy and claims management (advantageous).

  • Detail-oriented and conscientious.

  • Helpful and responsive communicator.
