Job Overview

The Tactical Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all site-specific security requirements are strictly adhered to, while delivering a professional, efficient, and responsive service to clients at all times. This role requires a disciplined, physically fit, and highly alert individual with strong response and tactical security experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure site safety and security

• Safeguard people, property, and assets at assigned sites

• Control access and monitor entrance and exit points

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies

• Complete accurate report writing and security registers

• Perform standard security duties as per training requirements

• Maintain effective communication with control rooms and supervisors

• Follow instructions accurately and work under pressure

Qualifications

Education

• Matric Certificate

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry

• Proven estate or residential security experience

Certifications & Requirements

• Grade A PSIRA accredited and registered with Response

• Firearm Competency: Handgun, Shotgun, and Rifle (Business Purposes)

• Valid Code 8 / 10 Driver’s Licence

• No criminal record and willing to undergo regular criminal checks

• Physically fit and in good health

• Must reside in the Johannesburg area

• Computer literacy is an advantage
