Job Overview:
As a Talent Manager, your role will be critical in ensuring the effective staffing of projects while fostering the career growth of consultants. You will work closely with partners and various teams across IMEA to manage resource allocation and ensure that consultants’ skills, preferences, and development needs are balanced.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Consultant Engagement & Career Development
- Actively engage with consultants to understand their strengths, development objectives, career goals, and preferences.
- Provide ongoing career guidance and development advice, ensuring that consultants understand and meet firm expectations.
- Collaborate with partners and senior stakeholders to deliver continuous career support and feedback for consultants.
🔹 Performance Management
- Ensure thorough participation in the career review process and provide quality assurance for project reviews.
- Seek informal feedback from project leads and provide development insights for future assignments.
🔹 Consultant Deployment & Staffing
- Work collaboratively with ACG, CCG, and other talent managers to develop the best-fit solutions for staffing projects.
- Manage consultant leave requests and internal work assignments.
- Monitor consultant progress against development objectives and recommend interventions where necessary.
🔹 Talent Management Programs
- Advise and manage Oliver Wyman’s Talent Management Programs and business school sponsorships.
- Track and maintain data related to consultant experiences, skills, competencies, and career progression.
🔹 Consultant Morale & Wellbeing
- Act as the primary point of contact for consultant morale and wellbeing, working closely with the Wellbeing Lead to address any work-life balance challenges.
Experience & Skills Required:
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in a dynamic business environment.
- HR or talent management experience is highly preferred, especially in client-facing industries.

Technical Skills:
🔧 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
🔧 Experience with resource management systems is highly desirable.
🔧 Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
🔧 Fluent in English (written and verbal).
