This role supports the Tax Team Leader and Tax Manager with end-to-end tax administration processes across DWT, IWT, and PAYE within a financial services environment. 🧾 Key Responsibilities
✔️ Process, reconcile, and submit PAYE payments, including SARS EMP201
✔️ Handle DWT & IWT payments and file related returns (DTR02 and WT002)
✔️ Monitor and distribute SARS communications: assessments, queries, document requests
✔️ Maintain income tax updates in admin systems and update calculators
✔️ Resolve queries related to CGT, DWT, IWT, TFSA & PAYE
✔️ Process manual tax directives and CGT calculations
✔️ Generate manual tax certificates when required
📚 Required Experience & Qualifications
✔️ Currently studying towards or completed a BCom Accounting or tax-specific tertiary qualification
✔️ Familiarity with retirement funds, voluntary investment products, TFSA is advantageous
✔️ In-depth knowledge of the Income Tax Act and Tax Administration Act
✔️ Hands-on experience with SARS e-Filing and E@syfile
✔️ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
✔️ Excellent reconciliation and financial control skills
✔️ Strong understanding of business and accounting processes
