We’re currently looking for a Team Leader to join our Bellville branch in the Western Cape. If you’re results-driven, thrive in a high-energy environment, and have leadership potential — this is your shot to make your mark!


What You’ll Do

As a Team Leader, you’ll ensure your branch hits its targets, delivers outstanding customer experiences, and operates in full compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Branch Growth & Betting Operations

  • Drive business results by achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Keep betting boards updated and assist customers with bets.

  • Ensure team members understand odds, limits, and rules of all games.

  • Manage customer interactions and promote responsible gaming.

Cash & Compliance Administration

  • Handle branch cash processes and ensure FICA compliance.

  • Manage floats, conduct interim checks, and oversee cash-ups.

  • Process lost ticket claims and ensure EFT/credit card policies are followed.

  • Submit daily banking schedules and ensure accurate reporting.

Security & Branch Appearance

  • Maintain a safe, secure environment for staff and customers.

  • Ensure all surveillance and security measures are operational.

  • Uphold cleanliness and equipment standards aligned with Hollywoodbets branding.

Stock & Reporting

  • Oversee weekly stock takes and report any discrepancies.

  • Ensure reporting to branch management and cash management teams is accurate and timely.

Compliance & Regulations

  • Ensure compliance with Gambling Board standards and internal controls.

  • Maintain presence of licensed managers and FICA officers at all times.

  • Enforce code of ethics and escalate any fraudulent activities.

Communication & Guest Relations

  • Ensure effective internal communication regarding campaigns and changes.

  • Handle guest complaints and build strong relationships with loyal patrons.

  • Promote a customer-first culture with “service with a smile.”

People & Performance Management

  • Manage team rosters, staff attendance, and behaviour.

  • Supervise performance, provide feedback, and encourage development.

  • Submit HR documents for new hires and support onboarding.


What You’ll Bring

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 12 months of experience in the retail, betting, or gambling industry.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid driver’s license

  • NQF Level 4 / Diploma / Degree / Learnership

  • 1–2 years of leadership experience
