Hollywoodbets is calling on enthusiastic, driven, and hands-on individuals to join our dynamic Retail Operations team as a Team Leader in Germiston, Gauteng.
As part of the Purple Team, you’ll manage and support branch operations to meet key business targets. You’ll play a critical role in guiding a team, ensuring compliance, delivering exceptional guest service, and driving business growth in one of South Africa’s most vibrant and fast-paced industries.

🧠 Minimum Requirements
✔️ Entry-level experience accepted
✔️ 1-2 years of leadership experience (preferred)
✔️ 6+ months in the Gaming or Betting industry
✔️ NQF Level 4, Diploma or Degree (advantageous)
✔️ Valid driver’s license (added bonus)

📈 Branch Growth

✅ Achieve branch targets in line with business strategy

✅ Update betting boards, memos, and game results timeously

✅ Assist customers with bets and educate them on product offerings
💰 Cash & Risk Management

✅ Maintain accurate cash handling processes
-
✅ Educate team on FICA compliance and EFT policies
-
✅ Submit banking schedules and manage float allocations
📊 Reporting & Stock Control

✅ Provide daily operational overviews
-
✅ Manage weekly stock takes and control shortages
🛡️ Security & Compliance
-
✅ Oversee security during banking and cash-ups

✅ Ensure branch camera systems and panic buttons are functional
-
✅ Uphold Gambling Board and internal policy compliance
🧹 Branch Presentation

✅ Ensure branch appearance meets Hollywoodbets standards
-
✅ Maintain equipment and escalate faults promptly
📣 Communication & People Management

✅ Share business updates and campaigns with the team

✅ Coordinate rosters and manage staffing for busy periods
-
✅ Facilitate onboarding and HR documentation for new team members
