Role Overview

The Technical Analyst (Global Grade 09) plays a critical role in diagnosing, assessing, and maintaining advanced industrial equipment. The role includes fault finding, machine analysis, safety compliance, and customer-facing technical reporting. This position is suited to an experienced Millwright Artisan with strong mechanical and electrical capabilities, able to work at heights, solve technical problems efficiently, and support clients with professionalism.

The analyst works closely with the maintenance team to execute tasks, uphold service standards, and ensure operational readiness of customer equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Diagnostics and Technical Assessments

• Quickly and accurately diagnose faults in machinery and identify component issues.

• Perform detailed machine analysis and compile comprehensive reports on technical findings.

Maintenance Operations

• Conduct maintenance tasks safely and professionally.

• Implement assigned duties within the maintenance team and drive follow-up actions.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Education

• Qualified Millwright Artisan (Electrical and Mechanical trade certification).

Experience

• Minimum 5 years post-trade experience (after apprenticeship or learnership).

• Expertise in maintenance and repair (both theoretical and practical).

• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults.
