Job Purpose

As a Technical Support Specialist: Cloud, you will play a key role in assisting resellers through the onboarding process, providing console training, first-line support, product demonstrations, and account creations. Your support will ensure smooth cloud operations and foster strong vendor relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support:

    • Assist resellers and internal teams with technical queries related to products and basic setups.
    • Provide first-line support across the Mustek cloud & software portfolio.
    • Onboard resellers to various vendor programs and consoles.
    • Manage support tickets and communicate common issues to the software/cloud team.
  • Vendor Console Management:

    • Aid resellers during migrations and deployments.
    • Ensure timely response to internal and external queries via email and phone.
  • Inter-Company Communication:

    • Build trusted relationships with vendors, cloud teams, and sales teams.
    • Maintain professional communication across all departments.
  • Product Knowledge & Certification:

    • Stay updated with vendor roadmaps and public cloud technologies.
    • Maintain deep knowledge of vendor licensing and changes in Microsoft operations.
    • Keep relevant certifications up to date (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, MCSE, Azure Fundamentals).
  • Administrative Duties:

    • Write detailed reports, escalate issues as needed, and perform general administrative tasks.
    • Maintain proper record keeping and filing systems.
  • Sales & Operations Backup:

    • Provide quotations and support sales efforts.
    • Update CRM systems based on customer interactions.
    • Assist with order processing, purchase orders, and invoice management as required.

Qualification & Experience

  • 🎓 Minimum Requirement:
    • Matric (Grade 12)
  • 🏆 Certifications:
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
    • Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1+ year in a technical support environment
    • Hands-on experience with Windows Server upgrades (2012 R2 to 2019), Exchange Online migration, and cloud deployment/maintenance.
