About the Role
Hyundai Automotive South Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for a skilled Technical Trainer to join Motus Training Academy in Gauteng. This role is ideal for a passionate trainer who excels in delivering high-quality automotive trade theory and practical training. The successful candidate will ensure that learners receive engaging, hands-on training using cutting-edge methodologies and assessments to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
📚 Training & Development
✔ Conduct automotive trade theory training based on structured lesson frameworks.
✔ Utilize interactive 360° learning methodologies to engage learners effectively.
✔ Implement tactile and visual learning techniques through demonstrations and displays.
✔ Use CDX media and other digital tools to enhance training sessions.
✔ Employ interactive assessments to evaluate competency and progress.
✔ Foster discipline and respect within the training environment.
✔ Be available for occasional overtime based on business needs.
🔧 Automotive Practical Training
✔ Ensure strict adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
✔ Guide learners through practical, hands-on exercises with continuous supervision.
✔ Utilize spontaneous and innovative teaching methods for maximum engagement.
✔ Prepare learners thoroughly for assessments and trade tests.
✔ Maintain a supportive and interactive learning atmosphere.
📝 Training Administration
✔ Keep daily training registers up to date.
✔ Ensure all assessments, reports, and learning activities are signed off weekly.
✔ Manage learner files efficiently and submit them on AMS or to the administration office.
✔ Follow structured training protocols for level and trade test preparation.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Grade 12 or equivalent NTC trade qualification
✔ Qualified Automotive Artisan (Diesel trade experience is a plus)
✔ Accredited Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator (preferred)
✔ 5+ years experience in Education, Training & Development Practices (ETDP)
✔ 3+ years in a management or leadership role
