Job Overview
The Tenant Liaison Officer Internship is part of SHRA’s Graduate Internship Programme, providing unemployed young graduates (under 35) with practical experience in leasing, tenant management, and property administration. Interns will work directly with tenants, support lease compliance, manage tenant records, and contribute to tenant satisfaction and empowerment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure all units are let and lease agreements are adhered to

Regularise tenancies and manage tenant communication

Administer tenant complaints, disputes, and tenant exit procedures

Conduct market research and marketing of units

Manage unit applications, waiting lists, tenant screening, selection, and allocation

Support tenant empowerment programmes and satisfaction survey initiatives

Maintain accurate lease and tenant records
Qualifications
Education:
-
Degree in Social Sciences with focus on leasing, tenant, or property management
Skills & Competencies:
-
Strong communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of housing sector legislation and basic lease agreement management

Social facilitation and interpersonal relation skills
-
Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams
Experience:

No prior work experience required; volunteer work or academic projects relevant to tenant or property management advantageous
