Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Planner, you’ll receive mentorship and structured learning to develop your planning expertise. You will:

  • Learn to create category plans ensuring the right merchandise reaches the right stores at the right time.

  • Gain a deep understanding of financial measures including sales, stock, and profit.

  • Analyze trading performance to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Forecast financial plans and track variances across sales, orders, stock, and markdowns.

  • Assist with product assortment planning in collaboration with buyers and location planners.

  • Conduct competitor store visits and recommend actions based on findings.

  • Manage order lines with attention to product details, cost, pricing, and allocations.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Science, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Strategic Management, or Supply Chain.

  • Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.

  • Strong mathematical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
