πŸš€ Role Purpose

As a Trainer, you will be responsible for scheduling and conducting training sessions for both new and experienced Call Centre agents. You will also work closely with team leaders and managers to drive performance, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and support the continuous development of employees.


🧩 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop digital presentations, instructional manuals, and video content.

  • Prepare training materials covering experience techniques and expected agent behaviour.

  • Conduct training for new hires and upskill existing employees on new or updated products and services.

  • Monitor daily Call Centre operations and identify skill gaps or areas for improvement.

  • Conduct on-the-job coaching and provide performance feedback.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare progress reports.

  • Organize regular Product Knowledge Tests (PKTs) to ensure up-to-date employee knowledge.

  • Identify training needs through analysis and observation.

  • Stay aligned with Vodacom accreditation requirements and attend β€œTrain-the-Trainer” sessions as needed.


πŸ‘€ Ideal Candidate Profile

βœ… Technical/Professional Requirements:

  • ODETDP Certification (NQF Level 5) or minimum 5 years of relevant training experience.

  • Vodacom accreditation (or willingness to achieve it).

  • 2+ years of experience in a training role.

  • Bonus: Certifications in adult education, eLearning tools, or business leadership.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint).

  • Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Telecommunications industry and Call Centre operations.

  • Sales environments and account management principles.

  • Basic understanding of converged and fixed products.

  • Service Level Agreements and fault management.

  • Project management fundamentals.
