About the Role:
MA Automotive Tool & Die Ltd is seeking a Training and Development Officer to join their team in Pretoria. This role will focus on designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the workforce. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring employees possess the necessary competencies to meet business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Training Needs Analysis (TNA)

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the training needs across different departments

• Align training programs with organizational goals and employee skill gaps

🔹 Training Program Design & Delivery

• Develop customized training materials tailored to the specific needs of employees

• Facilitate and present engaging training sessions that improve both technical and soft skills

• Ensure that training programs meet both business and compliance requirements

🔹 Training Evaluation & Feedback

• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance assessments

• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in training methods and materials

🔹 Training Administration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Administer all aspects of the training process, including scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting

• Collaborate with department heads to ensure that the right training initiatives are being executed

• Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders on training outcomes

🔹 Compliance & Onboarding

• Ensure that all mandatory compliance training is up to date and effectively delivered

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring new hires are trained efficiently

🔹 Employment Equity & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure adherence to Employment Equity guidelines in all training processes

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization

Required Qualifications & Experience:

🔑 Education:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)

• National Diploma in Human Resource Management/Development

🔑 Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Training Officer in a manufacturing environment

🔑 Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong facilitation and presentation abilities

• Sound computer literacy

• Good report writing skills
