An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Analyst to join a global private equity and investment advisory firm based in Johannesburg. This is a fantastic chance for an ambitious finance professional to contribute to treasury operations and gain hands-on experience in debt management, cash management, and foreign exchange hedging. You will work with a dynamic, forward-thinking team while ensuring the smooth running of various treasury functions within this renowned firm.

Key Responsibilities:

💰 Cash Management & Liquidity Forecasting

Assist in managing cash across various funds, including liquidity forecasting and excess cash management.
Monitor cash positions to ensure optimal liquidity and manage funding for deals.

💱 FX Hedging & Debt Management

Contribute to the FX hedging programme, assisting with trade proposals and rebalancing calculations.
Manage debt facilities, including interest payments, compliance reporting, and negotiating new facilities.

💳 Borrowing Base & Leverage Facilities

Maintain and complete borrowing bases for Asset-backed Leverage facilities, ensuring accurate calculations.
Perform borrowing base calculations and maintain compliance with covenants.

🔄 Daily Reconciliation & Exception Management

Perform daily reconciliation of cash within Kyriba and handle any exceptions or discrepancies.
Assist with onboarding new bank accounts and ensure relevant documentation is completed.

📝 Project & Process Improvement

Contribute to enhancements of procedures, including Kyriba system improvements and other treasury-related projects.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

🎓 Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Finance, Treasury, or a related field.

💼 Experience:

3-5 years of experience in a similar role with hands-on treasury operations exposure.
Experience in Private Credit or Private Debt is a plus.
Familiarity with Asset-Backed Leverage facilities and performing borrowing base calculations.

💻 Technical Skills:

Expertise in Kyriba and Excel is essential.
