About the Role
As a F&B Service Expert, your role goes far beyond simply delivering food. You will play a vital part in creating memorable, seamless, and personalised dining experiences that our guests will remember long after they leave. From welcoming and seating guests to coordinating with the kitchen, managing orders, and ensuring cleanliness and safety, you’ll be the face of Marriott’s legendary service.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism

Provide expert menu knowledge and assist guests with selections

Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all guest needs are met

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams

Maintain clean tables, service stations, and work areas

Handle guest concerns with patience and escalate when necessary

Follow health, hygiene, and safety regulations strictly

Uphold Marriott’s grooming and appearance standards

What We’re Looking For

Education: Matric / High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience in hospitality (restaurant or hotel service experience preferred)

Skills: Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and up to 50 pounds with assistance; stand and move for extended periods; comfortable working on uneven/slippery surfaces
