Job Purpose
We are hiring a Warehouse Clerk to manage stock flow, conduct quality checks, and support efficient warehouse operations. Based at our CSD site, you’ll play a key role in ensuring product integrity, cold chain maintenance, and timely processing within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
🧾 GRV & Billing Administration
-
Capture and process Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) in SAP
-
Match quantities and values to delivery notes
-
Manage over-supplied and short-supplied stock entries
-
Administer all billing documentation with precision
-
Conduct blind checks and ensure picking matches invoiced stock
❄️ Cold Chain and Temperature Control
-
Maintain daily temperature records
-
Ensure all frozen goods meet SOP handling standards
-
Minimize product exposure time outside cold rooms
🧹 Housekeeping and Compliance
-
Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
-
Enforce high standards of occupational health and safety
-
Ensure safe storage and stacking of products
📦 Stock Control and Monitoring
-
Conduct daily and cyclical stock counts
-
Prevent overloading, short loads, or incorrect dispatch
-
Assist with warehouse preparations for stock audits
📈 Performance & Reporting
-
Track loading rates, downtime, and efficiency
-
Record and report errors or inconsistencies
-
Ensure accurate document control until handovers
🤝 Team Collaboration

Assist loaders, forklift/reach truck drivers, and pickers
-
Foster teamwork while ensuring individual accountability

Step up in the absence of the Shift Warehouse Controller
What You Need to Succeed
📚 Qualifications & Experience
-
Matric (Grade 12) – Basic numeracy is advantageous
-
Minimum 1 year experience in warehousing or logistics
🛠️ Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of warehouse operations, SAP, and cold storage environments
-
MS Office proficiency
-
Excellent communication and timekeeping
-
Logical thinking and strong attention to detail
