🧾 JOB OVERVIEW

The Water Treatment Operator II role focuses on managing chemical handling, CIP systems, water treatment processes, and stock control within an industrial environment.

The role supports technicians and operations teams to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency across brewing and cleaning operations.


πŸ› οΈ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and manage chemical deliveries, including forklift coordination

  • Conduct fresh water, caustic, acid analysis, and titrations

  • Monitor dosing pumps, lines, and CIP systems for faults or leaks

  • Perform CIP validations, inspections, and detergent dosing

  • Maintain accurate daily chemical stock-taking and allocation reports

  • Ensure housekeeping standards (5S) in chemical storage and CIP areas

  • Conduct descaling and brewing CIP monitoring

  • Submit accurate documentation and reports to technicians

Education

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)

  • Chemical or water treatment certification (advantageous)

Experience

  • Experience in water treatment, brewing, or industrial chemical handling

  • Exposure to CIP systems and chemical analysis (advantageous)

Skills

  • Chemical analysis & titration

  • Stock control & reporting

  • Attention to detail and safety awareness

  • Ability to work shifts and follow SOPs
