The Water Treatment Technical Specialist – Mining is responsible for providing technical expertise, on-site support, and solution-driven guidance to mining clients.

The role focuses on water treatment chemistry, system optimisation, troubleshooting, and building strong client relationships while supporting business growth in the mining sector.

🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support and water treatment solutions to mining customers

• Conduct site assessments, system audits, and performance evaluations

• Recommend chemical treatment programmes for process water, wastewater, and effluent systems

• Support implementation, optimisation, and troubleshooting of water treatment systems

• Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical proposals and client solutions

• Deliver technical presentations, reports, and training to clients

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Water Treatment, or a related field

Experience

• Experience in water treatment within the mining or heavy industrial sector

• Proven technical support or application specialist experience

Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial and mining water treatment chemistry

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Client-facing communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment
