Job Description:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Wellness Assistant for our Clicks Katale Square store in Limpopo. In this role, you will be responsible for offering exceptional customer service, providing expert advice on health, wellness, and supplementation, and helping to drive the store’s healthcare sales.

As a Wellness Assistant, you will use your knowledge of health products to enhance the customer experience, provide valuable recommendations, and ultimately contribute to the store’s sales targets. You will also play a key role in stock management, ensuring the store’s product availability, and maintaining a clean, attractive shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional in-store service by engaging with customers and offering expert advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplementation to meet their needs.

  • Sales Targets: Promote a broad range of healthcare and supplement brands, cross-sell, and upsell products to drive sales and achieve profitability goals.

  • Stock Management: Ensure that healthcare products are readily available through effective stock management, adhering to stock rotation principles, and minimizing waste.

  • Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the store, ensuring an appealing shopping environment that invites customer satisfaction.

  • Merchandising: Follow store merchandising guidelines to display products effectively and attractively.

  • Ongoing Development: Continuously develop product knowledge to assist customers better, share insights with colleagues, and keep up-to-date with health trends.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all risk management and store policies, ensuring regulatory and company standards are followed.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Essential: Matric with 40% in pure mathematics (50% for literacy) and 50% in English.

  • Desirable: Qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Essential: At least 1 year of experience in a retail or health-related role, with a focus on sports nutrition and vitamins.

  • Essential: Proven customer service and selling skills.

Skills:

  • Essential: Strong communication and interaction abilities.

  • Essential: Customer service and selling proficiency.

  • Desirable: Basic computer literacy and merchandising skills.

Knowledge:

  • Essential: Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements.

  • Essential: Understanding of retail operations such as stock management and merchandising.
